IRGC Aerospace Force Commander General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh: We Crave The Opportunity To Launch 'Operation True Promise II' And Attack Israel Directly Again

IRGC Aerospace Force Commander General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh said in a July 1 address that he and his soldiers "are craving" for the opportunity to launch Operation True Promise II, similar to its April missile and UAV attack on Israel. He said that Iran's "hands are tied," and it does not have the "right circumstances" to act against Israel directly. General Hajizadeh highlighted Iran's direct attacks on American assets, such as the Global Hawk UAV and Ayn Al-Assad airbase. He stressed that Iran is providing weapons to its "dear friends" in Palestine, Lebanon, and elsewhere and that it will do everything in its power to help them. General Hajizadeh stated that the October 7 Al-Aqsa Flood "will lead to a certain Palestinian victory." General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh addressed a group of Palesitnain families of "martyrs" who traveled from Gaza to Iran. Video of his address was posted on SSN.ir (Iran).

Amir-Ali Hajizadeh: "This is especially bitter for us, since have the capability, but our hands are tied. We lack the necessary circumstances to act directly against the [Israeli] regime.

[...]

"In the operation against the aggressor American plane in the Persian Gulf, we shot down the Global Hawk aircraft with a single shot, as you have witnessed here today.

[...]

"In the second operation against the United States, we fired 13 missiles on Al-Asad airbase, as I said before.

[...]

"And in the third operation – Operation True Promise – we fired 300 missiles.

[...]

"My fellow soldiers and I are craving for the opportunity to launch Operation True Promise [against Israel]. I do not know what will be the size of that operation.

[...]

"It is obvious from the weapons used by our dear friends in Palestine, Lebanon, and other places that these weapons are provided by Iran. We will not hesitate to do anything in our power to help them. Until our dying day, we shall stand by the resistance and the Palestinians, with everything at our disposal.

[...]

"I tell you as an informed military person, and since it has been my job for the past 44-45 years, and I truly understand military situations: What happened in Palestine – the Al-Aqsa Flood and the Palestinian resistance – will lead to a certain victory for the Palestinians."
