On Friday, January 24, 2020, Ismail Al-Wahwah from the Australian chapter of Hizb ut-Tahrir delivered a sermon at an unknown location in Australia. He said that he would like to discuss the commemoration of the "so-called" Jewish Holocaust, which he called a global issue that was "imposed by force" on the "hypocritical world," but that he has no intention to discuss whether the Holocaust really happened or whether there were really as many victims as it is claimed there were. He said that the criminals who are occupying Palestine use the Holocaust for "dirty political exploitation" and in order justify and draw attention away from their own crimes. He further claimed that the Jews blow the Holocaust out of proportion and lie about it in order to milk the West and accomplish their goals. Furthermore, Al-Wahwah claimed that that the Holocaust and the accusation of antisemitism are used to silence anybody who talks about liberating Palestine or who exposes the crimes of Israel, which he referred to as an illegal and evil state. In addition, Al-Wahwah criticized world media and world leaders, including prominent Shiite and Sunni Muslim leaders, for "flocking" to Israel, Poland, and Germany to commemorate the Holocaust and its victims, and he said: "May Allah take [those Muslim leaders] to the Holocaust!" He bemoaned the fact that the Islamic nation is undergoing its own holocausts in Syria, Iraq, and China and that nobody is allowed to talk about the holocaust against Muslims without being accused of antisemitism for "underestimating" the Jewish Holocaust. Al-Wahwah continued to say that it is certain that Islam will ultimately be victorious, that the Islamic nation will be united, that a Caliphate will be established, and that shari'a law will return. He said that Islam will conquer Rome just like the Prophet Muhammad had prophesied, that Palestine will be free, and that Moscow will also be conquered. The sermon was uploaded to HT-Media, a YouTube channel belonging to Hizb ut-Tahrir. Ismail Al-Wahwah: "My brothers in Islam, today I will speak about an event that has become global. It was imposed on the world by force. Today, this hypocritical world in its entirety commemorates the so-called Jewish Holocaust. Today, the entire world – the media, the rulers, and the leaders – are flocking to the Jewish entity in order to commemorate the so-called Holocaust. They are also going to Poland and Germany, in order to commemorate the so-called Holocaust.

"I will not talk about the Holocaust, in an attempt to either prove or disprove it. That is none of my business. Neither will I talk about the real number of Holocaust [victims]. That is also none of my business and it does not interest me at all. Nor will I talk about the dirty political exploitation [of the Holocaust] by these criminals from among the occupying Jews, who exploit this issue in order to humiliate human beings, and in order to justify their crimes.

"Islam and the Islamic nation are undergoing a holocaust at the hands of the same criminals, but you are not allowed to talk about the holocaust against Muslims. The only holocaust is the one that [the Jews] claim, exaggerate, blow out of proportion, lie about, and milk [the West] over in order to accomplish their goals. Otherwise, you will be accused of being antisemitic.

"My dear brothers, as I said before, my topic was about the Holocaust, and I started by saying that I am not here to say whether it was a Holocaust or not. It is not my point to deny or to approve it, or how big or how small it was, or whether the number [of the victims] is the one which they claim now, or less, or how they try to benefit from the issue, especially the illegal, evil state of Israel. They try to benefit from this to keep up the support for their crimes that they are doing in Palestine. They use this word, 'Holocaust,' to silence everyone who exposes the crimes of this illegal state of Israel, or the ones who speak about getting rid of the occupation and to free the land of Palestine. If you speak about that – you are antisemitic.

"I was surprised yesterday, looking through social media. The ex-head of the Islamic World Organization [sic], who is a sheikh and an Islamic scholar, went to Poland to pray for the Holocaust. Next to him, there was another one, with a Shi'ite turban. A Sunni and Shi'ite, mashallah... United for the Holocaust... May Allah take you to the Holocaust! To Hell with you, Allah willing. They send their sheikhs to celebrate and remember the Holocaust, but your Holocaust, in Syria, the Uyghurs, in Iraq... No one cares about that. Not only do they not care, but they are a part of it. The Muslim and Arab rulers are a part of the Holocaust. They are the ones who are doing it, with their own hands. So today, the Islamic nation is in a Holocaust, but you are not allowed to mention that. They say that if you say that Muslims are in a holocaust, that means you underestimate the Jewish Holocaust, and that is antisemitic. You are not allowed to say that. I will not be surprised, if [because] of what I say now, today or tomorrow they will go to court, and say: 'You are antisemitic.' They want to silence us, as Muslims, from saying the truth.

"It is [only] a matter of time. Islam will be victorious. The [Islamic] nation will be united. The shari'a will come back. Have this as something that will happen for a hundred percent. It is just a matter of time. Your [Islamic] nation will never die. Yes, we are sick, we are bleeding, we are weak today, but that will never be forever. This is the nation of the Prophet Muhammad. [The Quran says:] '[Allah] is the One who sent His Prophet with guidance and the religion of truth to make it superior over all [other] religions.' Last week we celebrated [the anniversary of] the conquest of Istanbul. Eight hundred years after the Prophet Muhammad gave the glad tidings about the conquest of Istanbul... Muhammad the Conqueror did it after 800 years. Allah – through His Prophet – gave us the glad tidings that we would conquer Rome. By Allah, Allah willing, we will do it. He gave us the glad tidings to bring the Rightly-Guided Caliphate and the Prophethood that will happen, and to free Palestine again. By Allah, Allah willing, we will conquer Moscow."
