Yousef Makharzah, a Palestinian Islamic scholar affiliated with Hizb ut-Tahrir, said in a June 16, 2023 Friday sermon posted on Al-Waqiyah TV (Hizb ut-Tahrir) that that "Western civilization boils down to bestiality." He misquoted U.S. President Biden, claiming he had declared that "America is a gay nation," while in reality, he had said that "America is a nation of pride," and stated that America "is a nation of perversion and bestiality." Makharazah said that U.S. President Joe Biden has ordered the "despicable collaborators and enemies of Allah and His messenger" to legalize homosexuality in the region. He added: "Your cows, your sheep, and even your donkeys, have never stooped to the level of perversion that America designs for you."
Yousef Makharzah: "The pharaoh of the world, the loathsome president of the Americans, declared: 'we are a gay nation.' [America is] a nation of perversion and bestiality.

He has ordered all his pawns and minions in the region - all those despicable collaborators, the enemies of Allah and His Messenger, the enemies of our nation, of Islam, and of truth - to legalize this.
