Joint Iran-China-Russia Naval Military Exercise 'Maritime Security Belt 2024' In Indian Ocean

Channel 1 (Iran) aired a report about the joint Iran-China-Russia naval military exercise in the Indian Ocean. According to the report, during the drill called "Maritime Security Belt 2024," Iranian Navy and IRGC vessels simulated maritime battle, hitting ground and air targets, and operations to liberate hostages and hijacked ships.

Reporter: "Iran, Russia, and China have displayed their capabilities during the joint defensive naval drill called Maritime Security Belt 2024. More than 25 warships have conducted these exercises, under the command of the Dena Warship in the northern Indian Ocean.

"In this drill, the Iranian Navy and IRGC warships – along with the Russian and Chinese warships – were in attack formation and carried out commands from the Dena. All the units engaged air and ground simulated targets. Soon, Iranian, Chinese, and Russian units will begin night operations against targets in the northern Indian Ocean.

"This drill will end tomorrow with an exercise of liberating hostages and hijacked ships, along with a parade of all the participating units."
