In an October 25, 2024 interview on SamaQuds, released Jordanian terrorist Sultan Al-Ajlouni, imprisoned for killing an Israeli soldier, discussed his time in Israeli prison, where he met prisoners who later carried out the October 7 attack. Al-Ajlouni recounted a meeting with former Jordanian Prime Minister Marouf Al-Bakhit, who, while serving as ambassador to Israel, said that despite Jordan’s peace with Israel, the leadership still viewed Israel as an enemy. Al-Ajlouni praised the "glorious October 7" attack, claiming it destabilized Israel’s economy and security. He also suggested that if Muslim countries had acted, they could have defeated Israel, and the West would not intervene because they were not “crazy about Israel” and were unwilling to make sacrifices for it, accusing the West of wanting to rid their own countries of Jews by placing their "garbage bin" on the Arabs' doorstep.
