Salafi Jordanian cleric Omar Mahmoud Othman, commonly known as Abu Qatafa Al-Filastini, released a video on his YouTube channel in which he discusses "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion." This is the 24th installment of Abu Qatada project "1,000 Books before Death." While discussing the Protocols, Sheik Abu Qatada went off on a tangent to deny the Holocaust and affirm the blood libel. Abu Qatada resided in the U.K. and was repeatedly arrested in the 2000s on suspicion of links to terrorism. Eventually, he was deported to Jordan in July 2013, where he was tried, found innocent, and released.
Abu Qatada Al-Filastini: "There are two issues that are fought against in the West like none other. Do whatever you like, but do not go anywhere neat these two issues. Do whatever you want. Feel like cursing Allah? Curse as much as you like. Do you want to curse the history of your own country? The BBC itself broadcasts films that are an insult to British history."

"But there is an issue that you must not go anywhere near, and if you do... I am talking about historical issues. There is also the issue of homosexuality, which is sacred to them. You must not go anywhere near it. Anyone who dares to speak foul about homosexuality is done for. He faces a legal war and it thrown into prison and tortured and he suffers greatly. But with regard to historical issues, there are two subjects that are taboo and must be avoided.
"There are two that are, in fact, one in the same. The first issue is the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and the second is the Jewish matzos. They both constitute the first issue. The second issue is the Holocaust. If you go near these issues... Every year... Even we, the inmates [in British prisons] ... This was at one point... Later, they prevented us from leaving our wing.
"In the first three years when we were jailed together with common criminals, they would tell us to come out of our cells. Where are we going? To a big get-together to commemorate the Holocaust... Britain in its entirety commemorates the Holocaust, even the prisoners. The Holocaust is their claim that Hitler killed six million in the gas chambers. This is a worthless lie, of course. Even the burning of Jews did not happen. They would burn the dead. When someone in the Jewish camps died, where could they bury him? They would throw him into the oven. That’s all there was to it. They claimed that six million Jews were killed in the fighting. The number of Jews in Europe before the war was six million. It is a lie, which they blew out of proportion in order to benefit from it.
"A Jewish journalist wrote a book titled The Holocaust Industry. The Jews peddle this. It is an industry. They fabricated it and used it to drain the world. But if you dare speak about it... You know that when you apply for British citizenship, there are written questions to which you must choose the right answer. One of the questions is about the number of Holocaust victims. You must choose whether it was four million, five million or six million. Even if you say that the Holocaust happened, if you write that there were four million victims you do not deserve British citizenship.

"The issue that we are discussing is The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. If anyone talks about The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, they turn him into a laughing stock. He is regarded as a lunatic who does not belong to humanity. Who can even mention The Protocols of the Elders of Zion?
"What is even stranger is [what happens] when someone talks of the matzos of Zion. Do you know about the Jewish matzos, which are eaten on the Jewish holiday? Let me talk a little about the matzos before moving to the Protocols, their history, and the attempts to deny them. This Jewish blood matzos... there is a text in the Talmud...

"It says that the matzos eaten by the Jews on their holiday must be consecrated with the blood of a man from among the Gentiles. Usually they take a Christian because they cannot overpower a Muslim. This actually happened, yet they treat it as a mockery.

"In the final days of the Ottoman Empire a group of Jews killed a French doctor called Dr. Toma in Damascus. This man went missing. There was an investigation, and it was said that the last ones to have sought treatment from him were a certain family – a well-known Jewish family in Damascus. They interrogated them, using the old Ottoman interrogation methods, until they confessed. His hacked body was later found in the sewer. The entire family was interrogated, and they confessed that they had taken him, slaughtered him, and taken his blood to use it. This is a famous story. Although it is a story it is based on truth. Najib Al-Kilani, the well-known writer, storyteller, and doctor, wrote a book called Blood for the Matzos of Zion. This is a true story, not a figment of the imagination.
"They were interrogated and sentenced to death. One of the Jews, a Rabbi, converted to Islam. Unfortunately, the Ottoman Empire was weak in its final days. It was subject to the rule of the diplomatic consulates, which managed to save [the perpetrators] from the guillotine. If you say this in the West they mock you. 'Who would eat blood?' they say. But this is the truth.

"The Jews control the world and that is a fact. The Jews run the global economy, that is a fact. Do you want me to give you the numbers? Can any rational person who has read the history of the Bolshevik Revolution deny that it was won due to the support of the Jews, and the Jewish money of the Rothschild family? Can anyone deny that Lenin was Jewish? Can any rational person dare say that there is even one Communist party in the world that was not founded by the Jews?"

"The West hates the Jews for a reason. They view the Jews as bloodsuckers. They view them as usurers who suck the blood of the people."

"People from the Al-Jazairi family came from Algeria, settled in Damascus, and lived there. The same is true of many families. There is no such thing as 'Palestine,' in my opinion. There are no Palestinian clans. Where did all the Palestinians come from? They came from the Islamic countries, for ribat, for jihad, and in order to worship at the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
