Las Vegas Friday Sermon: What's Happening In Palestine Is A Struggle Between The Forces Of Truth And The Forces Of Evil; Any Time The Muslims Held Jerusalem, They Held The Forces Of Evil In Check; The Muslims Brought Civilization To The World; Why Are We Here In This Country If Not To Bring People The Truth?

On Friday, January 12, 2024, an imam at Masjid As-Sabur in Las Vegas, Nevada delivered a sermon in which he said that what is happening in Palestine is not only about the Palestinians or about Muslim holy sites, but also about the struggle between the forces of good and the forces of evil. He said that throughout history, Muslims ruled Jerusalem and kept evil "in check" whenever they adhered to Islam. He also said that in the past, Islam ruled the world and civilized it, adding: "What are we here on this earth for, what are we here in this country for, if not to bring the truth out to people?"

Imam: "What's happening now in Palestine does not just concern the Palestinians. It's not about the Palestinians who have lost their homes. It's not about the Muslims that have lost their sacred place. It's much, much bigger than that. It's a struggle between the forces of Truth and the forces of evil.

"And whenever Muslims were true to their beliefs, true to Islam, and followed Allah, they held Jerusalem, and then they kept the forces of evil in check.

"The Muslims ruled the world. Not only in power, but they ruled the world bringing the whole of humanity into civilization.

"The struggle is between Truth and Falsehood. The struggle is between the religion of Allah and the tyrants. The struggle is between upholding the dignity and the nobility of the human species or running them to the ground.

"What are we here on this earth for, what are we here in this country for, if we don't try to bring the truth out to people?"
