Lebanese international affairs expert Abdo Laqis spoke about the recent Quran-burning protest attended by Swedish politician Rasmus Paludan in a January 23, 2023 show on Al-Masirah TV (Houthis-Yemen). He claimed that the Swedes engage in human trafficking and "sell" the children of Muslim refugees to homosexual families who rape them and "rent them out for disgraceful and immoral acts." Laqis also said that Muslims don't need Western countries, but that the West needs Muslim countries because of their resources.
Abdo Laqis: "We don't need the [West]. They need our countries. They need our young people, and the resources of our countries. We don't need them. Especially Sweden. The way it deals with the issue of the refugees, which it claims is a humanitarian issue...
"[Sweden] is trading in the children of the refugees. They sell children under the pretext that this or that family is unfit to raise them.
"So they establish slave markets in their countries, and they sell the children to homosexual families.
"It has been proven that there are homosexual families who bought and adopted children, and then raped them, and rented them out for disgraceful and immoral acts. These are the most despicable people."
