Lebanese academic Roni Alpha said in a June 17, 2024 interview with Al-Manar TV (Hizbullah-Lebanon) that the October 7 Al-Aqsa Flood has exposed the "lie" that the Jews are the victims of the Holocaust. He said that the Palestinian narrative has taken over the world and shown who is being slaughtered and killed. Alpha added that an "anti-Holocaust culture" has been awakened in the West, and it is the responsibility of supporters of the Palestinians to rehabilitate the "real holocaust," which is being perpetrated against the Palestinians. According to his LinkedIn profile, Roni Alpha is a member of UNESCO's National Committee.
Roni Alpha: "The Al-Aqsa Flood has exposed several lies, which were being used throughout these 76 years.

"The first lie is the manipulation of antisemitism.

"The second lie was about Israel's military superiority. The Israelis made us believe that they were militarily superior.

"The third lie is that they are the victims of the Holocaust. They have tried to carry this line from World War II: 'We are the persecuted people. We are the slaughtered people. We are the people who lived in detention camps. We are the people who were put in gas chambers. We are the people who were killed and slaughtered,' and so on...
"All this at a time when the narrative that has taken over the world media is the Palestinian narrative that has begun to show the whole world that the people who are being slaughtered and killed, and whose land, life, blood, women, children and elderly are being targeted, is the Palestinian people.
"Therefore, what happened shattered a large part of the Holocaust's credibility, and it was done by the Zionists themselves. If there are people who still say the Holocaust is true... I do not doubt that there was some persecution of the Jewish people in the Nazi era, but the percentage of people who believe this is much lower, and so is the credibility attributed to Israelis who talk about the Holocaust.
