Lebanese Journalist Georges Yasmine: We Are Not Antisemites; The Jews Are Liars; It Is No Surprise That Jews Were Massacred In Europe, Wherever They Were There Was Trouble

Lebanese Journalist Georges Yasmine said that Arabs and Muslims are not antisemitic, in a May 18, 2024 interview, posted on Roula Nasr on YouTube, and he explained that the massacres of Jews in Europe were unsurprising, because wherever the Jews were, there was trouble. He said that the Jews are liars. Yasmine continued to claim that the Jews carried out the Bolshevik Revolution in response to the pogroms. He mocked Israelis for running for cover during rocket attacks in Tel Aviv, instead of gathering and looking at the attack like Palestinian and Lebanese do.

Georges Yasmine: "When there is a rocket attack on Tel Aviv, the Israelis film it. The Israelis are idiots. It is not just my opinion. It is a fact. Seriously, the Israelis are idiots and cowards. They film the rocket coming down, and see how they wail... Have you heard them wailing? It's like an ambulance. You think an ambulance is on its way, but it's not. It's them. Weeeeooo... I don't know what they are wailing exactly. I don't understand their language, but I know that they die of fear while the rocket is still in the sky. They start to scream and look for a hiding place. The Palestinians – just like we Lebanese were during the war... We used to gather together and say: 'Look, here it is...'

Georges Yasmine: "No, no... The Jews are liars."

Interviewer: "Yes. Of course."

Georges Yasmine: "They are liars. They would do anything. They say: This [land] was ours, not yours... They are soaked in lies. Their history and all their books and stories point to this.

"It is not a surprise that massacres occurred in European history, 500 or 600 years ago. In every place they were, there was trouble."
