Publisher and editor-in-chief of the Arab American News, Osama Siblani, said on a March 3, 2024, show on Mayadeen TV (Lebanon) that Arab Americans will not vote for Biden in the November elections, even "if he stands on his head." He said that he had a meeting with Donald Trump's Michigan campaign manager, and he wants to listen to the complaints of Arab Americans in Michigan. Siblani said that Biden's problem is that he is under pressure of American Jews to continue his support of Israel, but if Biden is late to change his policies, he will lose the votes of Arab Americans and the progressives, as well as the Jewish votes and political and financial support.
Osama Siblani: "I can tell you that Biden's problem today is the pressure by American Jews to continue his absolute support of Israel. If Biden refrains or is late [to change] this, he will lose the Arabs, the Muslims, and the progressives, as well as the Jewish vote, and the Jews' political and financial support.
"He will find himself in a predicament, from which he will not be saved in November, no matter what he does. I can tell you that for the first time there was cooperation…well, not cooperation but contact and a meeting, between myself and Trump's Michigan campaign manager. He came to my office here, and we spoke, one day before the elections. He told me that Trump wants to listen to the complaints of Arab Americans in Michigan.
"I personally welcomed this. Why? Because the Democrats have always taken us for granted. The Democrats are saying, 'Okay, do whatever you want. Your other option is Trump, who is worse than Biden.' We tell them our option is to vote neither for Trump nor for Biden. We will not vote for a president, just for the other officials nominated on the ballot in November. I can tell you in all honesty, and this will please the people in the Arab world, The Arab Americans will not vote for Biden even if he stands on his head."
