Dr. Mohammed Saeed Baker, a member of the Palestine Islamic Scholars Association from Jordan, quoted Jihadi Sheikh Abdullah Azzam on the importance of preparations for Jihad in a video posted on ANA Almurabit on YouTube on January 4, 2024. He continued to cite the hadith stating that Judgement Day will not come before the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them. Baker said that "falsehood" has its eyes on Jordan "just like on Palestine" and that they consider Jordan to be a road to Khaybar. He said that that the Jews who killed their prophets can only be dealt with by employing swords and killing. Baker further suggested that his audience start a collection to purchase weapons for the next round of fighting with Israel. He spoke at a tent put up by the Muslim Brotherhood's Islamic Labor Party in Amman, Jordan.
Mohammed Saeed Baker: "In this world of beasts, this jungle – without power, you are nothing. Therefore, the order of the day for every Muslim is to make preparations [for Jihad]. This preparation is the responsibility of countries, and if they do not prepare, it becomes the responsibility of large groups, and if they do not do it either, it becomes the responsibility of small squads of two of three people everywhere. They should muster the resolve and make preparations. If not – it becomes an individual duty. 'Fighter for the sake of Allah, you are accountable for none but yourself.'

"Every time, people ask me: 'Sheikh, what should we do to support our brothers in the war at hand?' I say to them: Prepare yourselves for the next war.

"Sheikh Abdullah Azzam, may he rest in peace, said that preparation for Jihad is like ablution before prayer. One of the conditions of a valid prayer is ablution, and one of the conditions for valid and complete Jihad is preparation.

"This is another round in this conflict, and these rounds will not end until Judgment Day, and Judgement Day will not come before you fight the Jews, and kill them, until the trees and the rocks will say: 'Oh Muslim, of servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.'

"We are talking about future rounds of fighting. We may be asked to go and fight in support of our brothers and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and we may nee to fight to defend Jordan, our mosques, our women, and our children. Falsehood has its eyes set on Jordan, just like on Palestine. Its eyes are ser on Amman, just like they are set on Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. On their maps, Jordan is nothing but a road to Khaybar.

"[Some Muslims] are surprised by the barbarity of the Jews, who kill women and children, while they read [in the Quran] that the Jews killed Allah's prophets. They killed the prophets! They killed their own prophets! So the only [solution] for these people is swords and killing.

"Instead of having people beg for weapons in the future, all of us should start today to deposit a sum of money for the purpose of buying weapons. Even if there are no weapons today, there will be in the future, Allah willing."
