Moroccan Islamic scholar Sheikh Abou Younes Elfraani said, in a video posted to his YouTube account on December 17, 2022, that the "schemes" of the Jews have been documented in The Protocols of the Elders of Zion and translated into Arabic, yet the Arabs and Muslims do nothing in response. He claimed that former Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, who he referred to as a "villainous cunning Jew", had said that the Jews plan for the country to span from the Nile River to the Euphrates River, and he said that the two blue stripes on the Israeli flag represent these two rivers. In addition, Elfraani claimed that Begin's people asked Begin whether this design might lead to a confrontation with the Arabs, but he answered that he had studied the mentality of the Arabs and knows that they wouldn't respond. Moreover, Elfraani said that former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir, who he referred to as Israel's first prime minister, had feared an Arab and Muslim uprising, but that the Arabs and Muslims remained asleep. Later in the video, Elfraani said that the Protocols include a plot to "confuse" the masses and "divert their attention" through sports and entertainment. It is noteworthy that Elfraani's video was posted at the end of the FIFA 2022 World Cup tournament in Qatar.
Abou Younes Elfraani: "Those Jews have schemes that are well-documented and have been published. They are known as The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Protocols... Schemes...

"They write their schemes down and have them published. [These protocols] were translated from Hebrew into Arabic and other languages. The Muslims have read them and maybe even understood them but they are not doing anything. The peculiar thing is that I have read a quote by one of the most important Jews, Menachem Begin, who is dead now. "
"The Jews plan for their country to spread from the Nile to the Euphrates. They are not satisfied with Palestine. They want a country from the Nile to the Euphrates. The two stripes on their flag signify those two rivers. The two stripes you see on their flag – one stripe signifies the Nile, and the other the Euphrates. [Begin] was reproached by his people who said: 'The Muslims might wake up and seek confrontation.' That villain calmed them down. He said: 'Relax, the Arabs do not read, and if they read, they do not understand much, and if they understand, they do not do too much.' This is a villainous and cunning Jew who had studied the mentality of the Arabs.

"This is why it is written in the memoirs of Golda Meir, the first prime minister [sic] of that monstrous entity... In 1948, when the state was founded, with the help of Britain and so on, she said that she could not sleep at night, because she feared the rise of the Arabs and Muslims. There was something going on at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Maybe they burned it, or something, I forget the exact story.

"But when she woke up, she saw that nothing had happened, and realized that the [Arabs] are asleep. Their plan, which they mention in the Protocols... In the Protocol XIII, they say: 'In order to keep the masses confused, not knowing what is in front of them and what is behind them, or what is planned for them, we will strive to divert their attention, by establishing means of merriment, entertainment, and play, as well as various types of sports and festivity. Then, we will make the press call for art and sports events.' This is Protocol XII of the Protocols [of the Elders of Zion]."
