Sheikh Abu Usama At-Thahabi said in a June 21, 2024 lecture at Masjid As-Sunnah in Orlando, FL that among the characteristics of the Jews is that they hide the truth and conceal knowledge, and that they are tricky and deceptive. Mimicking how Jews supposedly act deceptively, he said that they look like Satan, that he is not willing to be taken advantage of by a group of people who he makes supplications against every day, and that the Jews' holy book permits them to sell bad meat and poison to gentiles. In addition, he said that African-Americans who grew up in the ghetto know that the Jews are the slumlords, that the Zionists are the worst, and that the Jews believe they are God's Chosen People and can therefore do whatever they want. The lecture was livestreamed on Masjid As-Sunnah's YouTube channel.
Abu Usama At-Thahabi is a U.S.-born imam who used to serve as the imam of the Green Lane Masjid in Birmingham, England. He has recently returned to the United States.
