Palestinian Journalist Ayman Khaled criticized Al-Jazeera Network (Qatar) on his YouTube channel on December 15 and 23, 2024, calling its behavior "shameful and unprofessional." He accused the network of "beating the drums" in support of militants in Jenin, describing them as "resistance fighters" while Palestinian Authority security forces were trying to collect their weapons. Khaled stated that, in reality, the militants are "nothing more than Iranian collaborators." He played a video showing armed militants in military fatigues saluting the Resistance Axis from Jenin to Tehran. Khaled also condemned Al-Jazeera for presenting the situation in the Jenin refugee camp as though local resistance forces were clashing with "security forces," without clarifying that these were the security forces of the Palestinian Authority, the legitimate authority in Jenin.
Ayman Khaled: "Al-Jazeera TV's behavior is shameful and unprofessional. Every time that the security forces of the Palestinian Authority tried to confiscate the weapons of the [armed] groups in the Jenin Refugee Camp, Al-Jazeera TV would immediately start to beat the drums of the 'resistance,' and say that the PA security forces were laying siege to the 'resistance fighters.' I would like you to see who the people that Al-Jazeera TV calls 'resistance fighters' are. They are nothing but Iranian collaborators. Listen to them yourselves."

Militant: "We salute the Resistance Axis, from Jenin to Tehran. From Jenin, through Gaza, the Dahia suburb of Beirut, Lebanon, Al-Assad's Syria, our brotherly country Iraq, the dear Houthi Yemen, and the Islamic Republic of Iran..."

Khaled: "Al-Jazeera TV's rhetoric yesterday was the epitome of insolence.

"Al-Jazeera TV has been implying that the 'resistance' in Jenin is under siege, that the locals are trying to lift the siege surrounding the resistance, and that the clashes are with the security forces. Whose security forces are these? The Palestinian Authority. The Jenin Refugee camp is under the control of the Palestinian Authority. The Jenin Refugee Camp belongs to the Palestinian Authority. It is not from some other planet, oh Al-Jazeera TV."
