Palestinian Islamic Scholar Yousuf Makharzah: The UAE, 'Godfather Of Shame', Mediated Water For Electricity Deal Between Jordan And The "Jewish Entity" In Order To Make People Accept That "Monstrous Entity"

In a Friday sermon aired on Hizb ut-Tahrir's Al-Waqiyah TV (Lebanon) on November 26, 2021, Palestinian Islamic scholar Yousuf Makharzah said that the "godfather of shame and disgrace," the UAE, is "working to deceive the nation." He said that the UAE is pushing for a deal between Jordan and the "Jewish entity" in which Jordan will provide Israel with electricity in exchange for water in order to make people accept "that monstrous entity," meaning Israel. Yousuf Makharzah: "Jordan, the Hashemite state, has signed an agreement with the Jews in recent days. This was done in cooperation with the UAE – the godfather of shame and disgrace. This godfather is working to destroy the nation.

"The UAE mediated between the Jews and the state of Jordan, for the sake of coexistence and reciprocal trade. Jordan will provide to the Jews electricity, which is produced by means of solar energy in the Jordanian desert. In exchange, the Jewish entity will provide water to Jordan. As if Jordan lacks water. An expert said on Jordanian TV, two days ago, that Jordan has enough water for the next 500 years. So this is not about Jordan's need for water. They want to make the existence of the Jews in their country a normal thing. Those treacherous rulers want to make people accept that monstrous entity, which was planted by the colonialists on the land of the Muslims."
