Muhammad Al-Arab, head of the Paris-based "Peace Without Limits" NGO, criticized Hamas, which he said has brought famine upon its people in Gaza and has become Iran's "hired gun." "Whenever Iran is in trouble, Hamas instigates incidents, in order to relieve the pressure [on Iran], and to gain political points for the organization of the two Hamads [Qatar], for Erdoğan, and for Iran," he said, speaking on the Saudi 24 TV channel on June 2. Al-Arab further said that they "emotionally charge those young people, and then send them to confront the war machine of the Zionist army that lacks any moral values – that is suicide."
Muhammad Al-Arab: "Look, I do not want to talk about anyone fighting the Zionist entity, but Hamas is bad, and that is the truth. Since it began to manage Gaza, it has brought famine upon its people. It said that it was running Gaza. Fine, but it has brought famine upon the people. What has happened lately is that Hamas has become Iran's hired gun. Whenever Iran is in trouble, Hamas instigates incidents, in order to relieve the pressure [on Iran], and to gain political points for the organization of the two Hamads [Qatar], for Erdogan, and for Iran. This is what happened. I can give you the figures. The Saudi aid is 10 times larger than that of the organization of the two Hamads, Erdogan, and Iran. Let me give you a simple example..."
Interviewer: "Are you talking about Gaza?"
Muhammad Al-Arab: "Gaza and elsewhere.

"Look, the Palestinians have rights, and they have our support, but the internal political struggle, especially in Gaza, is not in the best interest of the Palestinians and their cause. First, they emotionally charge those young people, and then they send them to confront the war machine of the Zionist army that lacks any moral values – that is suicide."
Interviewer: "And this is what happening in Gaza?"
Muhammad Al-Arab: "Yes, suicide. You give him a rock and tell him to throw it at a tank, which costs three million dollars... The tank will shoot back and kill him. What is the purpose of all this? Scoring political points? Drawing attention back to you? Or are you trying to divert attention from your [Iranian] ally and sponsor? The number of Hamas leaders in Iran equals their number in Gaza."
