Popular Mood in Russia: Putin Never Gives Up!

Local teachers at a music school in Astrahan sang a song glorifying Russian President Vladimir Putin at a birthday party for one of the teachers. The song, written in 2014 by local composer poet Tatiana Klenkova, contains lyrics such as: "Putin – he never gives up," "we are invincible," and "we stand with our president and with all of Russia." The song was made public recently and has gone viral on Russian social media, even reaching the federal press. As such, this personality cult represents the current mood in Russia.

Teachers: "Putin – he never gives up, and no way will I give in to anybody either. Putin – we will break through anyway, we are invincible, and we don't give up on our people. No matter how hard it is, we stand with our president, and with all of Russia. Nothing can stand in our way. We have managed to do a lot, and together with you, we can do so much more.
