On February 17, 2024, Siyer TV (Turkey) livestreamed on its YouTube channel a conference that was held in Istanbul, Turkey in support of Palestine. Several speakers delivered speeches at the conference, which was most notably attended by Turkish Religious Affairs Minister Ali Erbaş, senior Turkish presidential advisor İsrafil Kışla, and IHH Director Bülent Yıldırım. During his speech, Yıldırım said: "We are going to the Al-Aqsa Mosque [and] to Gaza." He also had the crowd repeat after him a vow in which they said: "What can our enemy do to us? We carry paradise in our hearts, exile is [merely] a journey for us, prison is [just] a private room, to be killed is to be martyred!" The other speakers also spoke about the virtues of jihad and martyrdom, praised Hamas, condemned Israel and America, and described Zionism as a "virus" that must be eliminated.
Bülent Yıldırım: "Now, we are going to the Al-Aqsa Mosque. We have decided. The time for talking has passed. The time for good intentions and for messing around has passed. Now we are going to the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Now we are going to Gaza. Youths, friends, brave ones – my brothers and sisters! I believe that you will not abandon us. We are taking the ships. Hear the good news! We are going to the Mediterranean Sea. We are going to Gaza. The way is open. The way is to Palestine.

Nureddin Yıldız: "Even if [the forces of] unbelief are attacking us on every front and trying to inject us with helplessness, we are the Islamic nation! We see Jihad as an act of worship. We achieved victory not only against the Zionist occupiers. Their grandfathers all came from America, Britain, France, and Italy, and they were all forced to leave. Praise be to Allah!"

Muhammed Şevket Gökşan: "Today, we are seeing the reflection of continued cruelties – since 1947, not just since October 7 – on the part of those who have the basest souls in the world [the Jews]. They are the enemies of humanity, the killers of prophets, and mentally ill.
