In a March 5, 2024 pro-Palestinian protest in front of a synagogue in Montreal, Canada, a protester said that "it is about time Israel gets taken out of the Middle East." He added that "everyone will celebrate" the destruction of this "evil entity." Addressing pro-Israel counter protesters singing "Am Yisrael hai" [the People of Israel live], he said: "Yo, Am Yisrael hai, but not for long [expletive]. […] you guys can't make it past 80 years." He said that Palestinians will return to Acre, Haifa, Jaffa, Nazareth, Eilat, and the Negev Desert. He added: "We are going to free Palestine from your filthy oppression."
In response to counter protesters chanting to bring the Israeli hostages held by Hamas home, he led a chant: "They are dead! You killed them!" Protesters chanted in Arabic that Palestine "is Arab" and that only the martyrs will open the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. They chanted in English: "Palestine is almost free!"
Another speaker said that the people of Gaza are not just fighting to liberate Palestine from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, but "to liberate the entire world from this fascist project." A man, whose face was covered by a keffiyeh told the pro-Israel protesters: "You are fake Jews." Video from the protest was posted on Montreal4Palestine and Palestinian Youth Movement Montreal on Instagram.
