Qatari sociologist Dr. Abd Al-Aziz Al-Khazraj Al-Ansari said that Arab secularists hate the Islamic punishments for thievery, fornication, sodomy because Arab secularists are the biggest thieves, fornicators, and sodomites. He made his remarks in a video that aired on the Dr. Al-Ansari channel on YouTube on August 26, 2021. Al-Ansari said that the secularists hate the punishment of chopping off the hands of thieves because they are the "biggest thieves" and gave the example of the Arab governments and leaders, which he said are mostly secularists and steal the resources of their people. He then said that the secularists hate the flogging of fornicators because they are the owners of "prostitution hotels" and networks. Al-Ansari then said that the secularists hate the Islamic punishment for sodomy - hurling the perpetrators from the tallest building - because they are the "biggest sodomites" and advocates for gay rights.
Abd Al-Aziz Al-Khazraj Al-Ansari: "Why do secularists hate [the punishment] of chopping off [thieves'] hands? Because they are thieves! Thieves! Arab secularists are the biggest thieves of all. Look at our governments. Most of them are secular governments. Most rulers are secular, who do not implement the law of Allah.
"Since they are the greatest thieves, who rob the people and steal their resources, and all the riches of the country, they hate the punishment of chopping off a thief's hand. Got it? Arab secularists are thieves. That is one thing. Why do the secularists hate the punishment of flogging for fornicators? Because they are the biggest fornicators of all. Our [Arab] secularists are the biggest owners of prostitution dens. They are the biggest fornicators. They bring whores and sleep with them out of wedlock. This is why they hate the punishment for fornication.

"Why do the secularists lead the fight against this punishment? Because they are the biggest proponents of sodomy, calling to legalize homosexuality. They want to allow men to marry men and women to marry women. They want to give them their rights. This is why they are the biggest advocates of sodomy, the leading perpetrators of this filth, and biggest advocates of gay rights. This is why they fight Islam's punishment of hurling sodomites [from rooftops]. Now you understand why they hate Islam?"
