Iranian Ayatollah Mohammad Saidi, Khamenei's representative in the Qom Province, said in a June 29, 2019 Friday sermon in Qom, Iran that by sanctioning Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, "stupid and idiotic" President Trump has become worthy of the Iranian people chanting "Death to Trump," which the audience proceeded to chant. They also chanted "Death to America," "Death to England," "Death to Israel," and "Death to the hypocrites and infidels."
Ayatollah Mohammad Saidi: "[That] stupid idiot Mr. Trump... Today, whether you like it or not, the source and great Leader of the Revolution, the eminent Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei... Whether you like it or not, he is the spiritual leader of millions of people around the world."
Audience: "Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar! Khamenei is the leader! Death to those who oppose the Rule of the Jurisprudent! Death to America! Death to England! Death to the hypocrites and infidels! Death to Israel!"
Ayatollah Mohammad Saidi: "Trump — by this stupid and idiotic measure [of sanctioning Khamenei], you have proven yourself worthy of 'Death to Trump' chants by the Iranian people."
Audience: "Death to Trump! Death to Trump! Death to Trump! Death to Trump!"
Ayatollah Mohammad Saidi: "The administration you preside over is worthy, as always, of our people's chants of 'Death to America!'
