On November 14, 2024, Global Times (China) published a report about Russia's fifth-generation Su-57E fighter jet appearing at Airshow China. A representative from Rosoboronexport, Russia's defense export company, explained that the Su-57E is a highly advanced aircraft that complies with fifth-generation fighter jet criteria, including having a supersonic cruise mode, a low radar and infrared signature, and more. He said that the "E" designation indicates that the jet in question is the export model and that Russia is ready to export these jets.
Yang Sheng: "Now we're standing next to the Su-57E in the Airshow China and this is Mike from Rosoboronexport. Now Mike, let's introduce about your best fighter jet."
Rosoboronexport Representative: "Yeah, thank you for your interest. I would like to cover briefly a couple of facts about the Su-57E. It is truly one of the most advanced fifth generation fighter jets and Russia is really proud of it because it comprises the best technical performances and it fully complies with the fifth generation criteria which include the supersonic cruise flight mode, low radar and infrared signature. It has high noise immunity while operating in a contested air environment and it had one of the most advanced and powerful element complexes that were, that was, specifically designed and integrated on Su-57E fighter jet."
Sheng: "What makes you bring this best fighter jet to China?"
Representative: "As you have seen that's the Su-57E, that's the export modification and as we think that this aircraft we are ready for export this advanced fighter jet for our potential customers."
Sheng: "So can we see more Su-57 in the future to come to airshow?"
Representative: "We may see."
