Russian Mufti Nafigullah Ashirov said that Palestine and Gaza were the responsibility of all the Muslims, not only the Arabs, in his March 7, 2024 speech during the inauguration of the Great Mosque of Algiers. He said that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is crying and calling the Muslims "from under the brunt of Judaism." Ashirov continued to say that the young men and women who will graduate from the education center within the mosque will go and liberate Jerusalem, like the army of the Prophet Muhammad. The Grand Mosque of Algiers, which was recently inaugurated is the largest mosque in Africa and the third largest mosque in the world. Mufti Ashirov's speech was posted on the YouTube channel of the mosque.
Nafigullah Ashirov: "I would like to say, with regard to Gaza and Palestine, that we must not forget this cause, because Palestine, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Jerusalem are the responsibility of all Muslims. It is not just the responsibility of the Arabs but the responsibility of all Muslims.
"Therefore, the Al-Aqsa Mosque is calling us, the Al-Aqsa Mosque is crying and calling us from under the brunt of Judaism. The Al-Aqsa Mosque was the first direction of prayer of the Muslims. Unfortunately, it is forgotten today. Gaza and Palestine are calling us. Inshallah, a new generation will graduate from the centers we inaugurated today, and these young men and women will go to Palestine, just like the army of the Prophet Muhammad went there, under the command of his Companions."
