In his May 31, 2024 Friday sermon at the Islamic Center of Passaic County in Clifton, NJ, Sheikh Osamah Salhia said that the greatest thing Muslims living in America can do is to continue to "undermine the corruption of Zionism." He said that Muslims should be politically active and vote out of office "corrupt politicians in the back pocket of Israeli lobbying." Salhia said: "We know who the terrorists are... the terrorists are running for the upcoming presidential elections." He encouraged parishioners to "vote uncommitted for the presidency for Palestine." Salhia said that neither candidate is a "person of honor." The sermon was streamed live on the YouTube channel of the Islamic Center.
Osamah Salhia: "Now, our community, brothers and sisters, is stepping up to the plate. We see real change happening internally. We see a strong push to go out and vote. We've been mentioning this for the past period: that the greatest thing we can do as Muslims living in America is to continue to undermine the corruption of Zionism by speaking out, by getting involved, by making sure that corrupt politicians in the back pocket of Israeli lobbying don't continue to get into office. There's a strong push for voting."

"We know who the terrorists are. Brothers and sisters, in our books and beliefs, the terrorists are running for the upcoming presidential election. And that's why we're saying vote uncommitted for the presidency for Palestine because neither candidate who's trying to get that presidency is actually a person of honor. They're bankrupt people. They're bankrupt politicians. We don't want to hear them. We don't want to support them. We don't want their kind in our Masajid. Those are the terrorists!"
