Syrian Journalist Ahmad Kamel: Nobody - Not Even Israel or the U.S. - Is as Savage as the Russians, Hizbullah, and Iran

Syrian journalist Ahmad Kamel said that although we have fought Israel all our lives, "Israel never did to us what was done by Hizbullah, the Iranians, and the Russians, and nor did the Mongols, the Tatars, or the French." Furthermore, the Americans "are accomplices [to the killings in Syria], but they are not as savage as the Russians," he said, speaking on the Turkish Channel 9 on March 24.

Interviewer:  "Before the battle of Ghouta, [Russian FM] Sergei Lavrov said that it would end just like in East Aleppo. At the end of the day, you are fighting a ferocious and savage Russian Bear, who enjoys international protection."

Ahmad Kamel: "The situation is different now. The American position has changed. The Americans are currently present in wide areas of Syria, and they want to expand even further, and Turkey also..."

Interviewer:  "Aren't the Americans participating in the killing and massacres?"

Ahmad Kamel: "They are accomplices, but they are not as savage as the Russians. Nobody is as savage as the Russians, Hizbullah, and Iran. The Lord has not created anyone more savage than the Shitte sectarians. We have fought Israel all our lives – and let no one forget that we still consider Israel to be an enemy – but Israel never did to us what was done by Hizbullah, the Iranians, and the Russians, and nor did the Mongols, the Tatars, or the French. When a fighter against colonialism in Syria would shoot and then enter a mosque, the French colonialists would let him be and go away. The same would happen if they entered a university, a church, or the parliament. The savages coming from Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran have no honor."
