Following are excerpts from a public address delivered by Dr. Sami 'Assassa, a Syrian political science expert, which aired on Al-Jazeera TV on May 12, 2009:
Dr. Sami 'Assassa: We do not deny, in principle, that Jews were killed, nor do we object to the figure of six million. On the contrary, we claim that the number of victims exceeded that "sacred figure" by five victims [i.e., 6,000,005]. Therefore, we advise the Netanyahu-Lieberman government to quickly challenge the level of compensation, and to demand that the sum be raised, before the rights of these poor Jewish victims are lost. Questioning the existence of God, and even denying His existence altogether, and discussing this freely, is possible in Germany, and the atheist does not fear punishment. However, questioning whether the Holocaust massacre happened and questioning the number of victims is a taboo, which is completely prohibited. The punishment for this is harsh, and serves as a sword that relentlessly strikes people's necks.

The Jews were not the only victims of the Nazis. There were victims of many different nationalities, ethnicities, and religions, including a large number of Gypsies, and even Arabs from Morocco, Syria, Palestine, Egypt, and Iraq. But the politicized and controlled global media spares no effort in limiting the Holocaust to the Jews.
