In a recent address, London-based Shiite cleric Yasser Al-Habib said: "Every era, a new ISIS will be born unless we do away with Abu Bakr, Omar, and 'Aisha... We should focus our efforts on turning people into righteous Rafidites [i.e., Shiites]."
Following are excerpts from the address, which was aired by the London-based Fadak TV channel and posted on the Internet on July 13, 2014.
Yasser Al-Habib: ISIS and similar criminal gangs are nothing but the filthy by-products of what the great oppressors have done. If we want to do away with ISIS once and for all, we must first destroy the roots – Abu Bakr, Omar, and 'Aisha. Unless the Muslims do away with Abu Bakr, Omar, and 'Aisha – even if they manage to destroy this contemporary terrorist gang, it will be reborn sometime in the future. As long as there is a sect of deluded Muslims, who follow these leaders all the way to Hell, these Muslims will be affected by them and will start their criminal ways all over again.
Every era, a new ISIS will be born unless we do away with Abu Bakr and Omar. Frankly, one must target the ideological roots of terrorism in order to eliminate it. Therefore, we should focus our efforts on raising awareness among Muslims of these people's crimes, and we should call upon them to wash their hands of them.
We should focus our efforts on turning people into righteous Rafidites. This is what will eliminate terror once and for all.
If Chechnya, for example, becomes a Rafidite country, just as Iran did in the past – will even a single terrorist emerge from this country, blowing up people? No, because you will have destroyed the ideological environment of terrorism.
