Recent footage aired by the Kurdish ANHA News Agency shows people celebrating in the streets following the liberation of the Manbij area from ISIS. Women burned burkas, crying: "May Allah burn the hearts of the ISIS members, like they burned us and our men," and a young man whose arm had been chopped off waved his prosthesis in jubilation. The footage aired between August 1-13, 2016.
