On March 11, 2012, Sayf ibn Dhi Yazan, a new member of the leading jihadi forum Al-Fida', announced that he would soon release the first jihadi application on Facebook. The application, according to Yazan, will facilitate the publication of jihadi productions to subscribers' profile pages.
In his post, Yazan called on forum members to support his project so as to enable him to "complete this stage and move on to another one." The Facebook page to which Yazan linked is filled with jihadi propaganda videos and interviews, most of which have been recently released by groups such as Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) and the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI). So far, the newly created account has been "liked" 57 times.
