On March 20, 2020 and March 21, 2020, a media outlet affiliated with Al-Qaeda posted two messages to its Rocket.Chat channel advising Al-Qaeda supporters that it is actively seeking new recruits. The first message says that the media outlet is looking for people with translation, design, and video editing skills. The second message says that the group is "urgently" in need of a French speaker to help with translations. Both messages provide contact details for the group on Rocket.Chat, Threema messenger, and WhatsApp. The WhatsApp number provided has a Netherlands country code.
