On January 22, 2015, the website for The Star newspaper in Kenya was hacked and defaced by hackers claiming to be from the Al-Shabab terrorist group. The defaced page featured the above image and also thanked Kenyan journalist Mohammad Ali for "recruiting more mujahideen and fighting the Kuffar and apostate government of Kenya." Ali is often seen as an Al-Shabab sympathizer.
