Fallaga Team is a Tunisian Islamist hacker group. The team has hacked French, Tunisian, and Israeli websites.[1] It is currently involved in #OpFrance,[2] and has recently hacked several French websites according to its Twitter page. It has also recently participated in #OpIsrael. Fallaga Team is active on social media and has thousands of followers.
According to a public statement by one of its members posted on Facebook, Fallaga is an Islamist group specifically opposed to secularism and atheism, and while it claims to not be an extension of the Islamic State (ISIS), its Facebook page states that it shares similar religious and political ideals. Fallaga participated in #OpCharlieHebdo on Twitter, and explicitly supports the recent attacks in Paris.[3]
The Facebook page was created on September 14, 2011 and has 59,147 likes. It features pictures, videos, and statements that detail its political and religious ideologies.
Facebook Video
One video posted on Facebook, titled "A Message from Fallaga to the Media, the Political Parties, and the Tunisian People," shows an unidentified individual speaking about the ideologies and goals for the Fallaga Team. In it he states that there is no place for secularism in Islam, and that Islam, which is currently having a "revival," is of the utmost importance (in government).
The Twitter page (@Fallaga_Team) was created on Decmber 24, 2014. It has 354 followers and 646 tweets. Fallaga primarily use it to post links to hacked servers and promote hashtags of current operations such as #OpIsrael or #OpFrance. It provides significantly less media than its Facebook counterpart.
YouTube
The YouTube channel was created June 28, 2013. It has 5 subscribers, 540 views, and 6 videos. The videos are announcements by hackers with concealed identities, as well as videos of computer screens during hacking operations.
