On May 14, 2019, the media arm of a Gaza-based Salafi group extended its fundraising campaign to other social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn and urged followers to promote the campaign. In a post published Telegram and WordPress, the group asked those who cannot send money to share the campaign's announcement on multiple social media platforms. In the posts published on Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, the group shared posters showing different types of weapons and their prices as well as quotes from senior jihadi figures encouraging Muslims to donate to support the jihad and the mujahideen.
