On January 16, 2024 the Iranian Salafi-jihadi group Jaysh Al-'Adl issued a statement on Telegram acknowledging that the Iranian government targeted the homes of some of its fighters in the border mountains of Baluchestan using suicide drones and rockets, destroying two homes, killing two children, and seriously injuring two women and a teenage girl.
