Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) 'Intensely' Trains Operatives In Operation Of Drones In Eastern Syria

On November 19, 2024, a Syrian opposition-affiliated website, which covers the Deir Al-Zour region in northeastern Syria, reported that according to an "exclusive source," Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was training about 30 operatives in the operation of drones in the desert of Mu'ayzilah, near Al-Bukamal, southeast of Deir Al-Zour. The source claimed that the operatives were selected by the Iranian "security office," and that most of them hail from the cities of Hama and Homs.
