On December 2, 2024, supporters of the Islamic State (ISIS) reported a crackdown on Telegram on jihadi channels, including a few that disseminate ISIS's official material in a timely manner. The channels disseminating ISIS material have been down since November 28, 2024, and no official releases, namely the daily claims of responsibility, have been observed on the social media platform since that date.
