In recent years Taliban militants have been using the micro-blogging service Twitter to spread their message against the U.S. Following are some of the key Taliban accounts active on Twitter. Some Twitter accounts established in the names of Taliban leader Mullah Omar and Al-Qaeda leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri are not listed here, as they do not appear to be authentic.
