Newly-Established Iran-Backed Group Claims Flying Drone Over Baghdad U.S. Embassy

On June 14, 2023, a recently-established Iran-backed group claimed responsibility on Telegram for flying a drone over the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad on June 9. It claimed that this action sparked terror and fear in the embassy complex, and it warned that this terror and fear will not cease and that the U.S. forces in Iraq will not know security.
