Following the release of the first issue of its bulletin, a pro-Al-Qaeda outlet published a post on its Telegram channel on December 21, expanding on its article about safely using mobile phones. The post discussed ways users can protect their identity and minimize the risks of being tracked by security forces. It recommended that jihadis disable the cameras, microphone, and fingerprint sensor, and to circumvent GPS tracking by removing the phone's battery.
