On September 26, 2023, a pro-Al-Qaeda Telegram channel published an e-book about information security, which instructs jihadis on best practices to evade surveillance by security and intelligence agencies. Titled "The Security Series on Escaping Global Censorship," the Arabic-language e-book was hailed by the channel as an "exclusive" resource for jihadis seeking to protect their privacy.
The book is divided into several sections: information security, cybersecurity, mobile security, secure communications, physical security, and personal security. Each section includes an introduction to the security topic, including an overview of basic concepts and definitions, as well as instructions on information security, as it relates to the topic.
