On April 18, 2017, the pro-Islamic State (ISIS) female hacking group Al Khansaa Kateeba released its first video, in which it delivered a message and showed off its hacking prowess on Twitter. The group claimed to have hacked over 100 Twitter accounts in March. The group is affiliated with the most well-known pro-ISIS hacking group, the United Cyber Caliphate (UCC).
Video Text"Thereafter, Shortly after the announcement of the creation of a brigade that consists of female cadres within the ranks of the team, the muwwahidat [female Islamic monotheists] answered the call and formed a force that disturbs the kuffar [infidels] and made them sleep deprived. They soon, and because of their fears from this force; spread rumors that were forged by their weak minds that cannot bear the truth, do not want the right to be clear, not the religion to be spread. However, we stand firm against them, moreover, we shall get rid of each and every individual whom will wage a vocal war against us, for we are the decedents of the Sahabiyyat [female companions of the Prophet Muhammad], and we shall defeat all those who stand as an obstacle in our way.
