On April 4, 2016, the pro-ISIS hacker group Cyber Caliphate Army (CCA), whose Telegram account was closed over the weekend, returned to the encrypted messaging app. The CCA announced a cooperative with like-minded cyber jihadi groups in order to "expand... operations," as well as the launch of additional account titled "United Cyber Caliphate" - a collective Telegram account for four cyber jihadi organizations - Ghost Caliphate Section, Sons Caliphate Army, Caliphate Cyber Army, and Kalachnikov E-security team.
On April 4, 2016 the CCA simultaneously launched a new twitter account as well:
The United Cyber Caliphate team Telegram account, which gained 200 members in less than one hour
On April 4, the CCA announced the "incorporation [sic.] between Islamic State Hackers Teams"
The four pro-ISIS cyber jihadi organizations listed engage in cyber-attacks on Western targets as well as promote ISIS related literature. This image appeared on the CCA account, as well as on the United Cyber Caliphate account
