Pro-ISIS Hackers Launch Cyber-Attack Campaign Against Iran

Over the past week, a number of pro-Islamic State (ISIS) hackers announced that they were launching a cyber-attack campaign against Iran. The attackers, who tout themselves as being part of an 'elite' group of ISIS hackers, have targeted the Iranian government, as well as private institutions, and have released private information that they allegedly obtained from those attacks.

The campaign, whose third phase was announced today on the hackers' Telegram channel, is being promoted by the hashtag #IranUnderHackS.

Among the participating hackers are the Cyber Caliphate, the Islamic Cyber Army, and pro-ISIS hackers, and others.
