On March 28, 2022, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) Telegram channel published two screenshots of pro-ISIS tweets, one having garnered over 13,000 views, and the other over 41,000. The channel noted the impact of the tweets, and encouraged supporters not to confine themselves to posting on Telegram. The channel then claimed that the only reason jihadis are granted relatively free reign on Telegram is to prevent them from directing their efforts at other social media platforms where they can reach the general public.
