On April 24-25, 2015, the Syrian Electronic Army (SEA) published a series of tweets on their official account (@Official_SEA16) commenting on the recent sentence handed down to General David Patreus after he had leaked classified information to his mistress, Paula Broadwell. The SEA alleges that Patreus' fine and sentence were not actually related to said leak, and hinted that it was related to a different matter. The tweets were accompanied by screenshots supposedly showing the SEA had access to Patreus' military email, and promised that they would publish more info on this topic. Following are their tweets:
