Syrian Opposition Website: Lebanese Hizbullah Tests Iranian Modified Drones In Homs, Syria

On June 11, 2023, a Syrian opposition news website published a report claiming that Lebanese Hizbullah transported weapons and missiles from northeast Damascus to warehouses near Homs, Syria.  The report further claimed that the group's fighters conducted a military drill using the newly-arrived weapons and Iranian modified drones.

The outlet said that 100 fighters from an Iran-backed militia, Lebanese Hizbullah, and IRGC carried out a drill to test the new missiles, weapons, and drones. It noted that the drones were modified by Iranian experts in the Homs area.
