On June 22, 2020 a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) media outlet released a poster on Telegram stating that pro-ISIS users have been successfully exploiting Twitter, a tool created by the "Crusaders," to spread the creed of ISIS and fight polytheism. The poster urged supporters to continue these activities.
