Users Of Pro-ISIS Encrypted Server Claim It Has Been Infiltrated By 'Anti-Terrorist Spies'

June 16, 2023

On June 15, 2023, a user of the Islamic State (ISIS)-operated Rocket.Chat server claimed that a previous post he made, in which he asked permission for waging jihad where he lives, was shared on an "anti-terrorist intelligence site," adding that spies have infiltrated the server.

Other users responded by urging caution. One addressed any "spies" who may be reading, threatening to slaughter, cage, burn, and throw them off buildings, calling them "enemies of Allah."

Another user claimed that the channels on the server are regularly surveilled by various organizations, who report on even the most minor posts.
