On January 25, 2024, Yemen's Houthi movement published on its official website a poster calling on supporters to participate in a "tweetstorm" on X, formerly Twitter, later that day at 9:00 PM Sanaa time and to use the Arabic and English hashtag: #USMotherOfTerrorism."
The poster read: "America lives off of wars and is sustained by the blood of the nations... After the aggression against Gaza, it has been publicly exposed, and now the world recognizes its terrorism and calls for its death."
